How to keep your eyeshadow stay on!
How to keep your eyeshadow stay on all night and keep it vibrant
So believe it or not, the eyelids are the oiliest part of the face. I know…. random right?
Whether your skin is dry, normal, oily or combination, your eyelids are bound to get oily if you apply some kind of eyeshadow over them.
Do you sometimes find that if you apply an eyeshadow that is creases half way through the day?
Or when you apply an eyeshadow colour, it just doesn’t seem vibrant enough and it doesn’t look as pigmented as it does in the palette?
Yep, it’s common.
So, how do we solve this?
Well, if you have watched any of my tutorials, online videos or step by steps over on snapchat, you’ll know I always use an eyeshadow base.
An eyeshadow base is an equivalent to a thick concealer.
- It’s great to apply all over the lid and underneath the brows to create a more defined eyebrow look
- Once applied and set, it creates the perfect smooth base to go underneath your eyeshadow
- It also acts as an oil control product to stop any oil seeping through to the eyeshadow
- and finally it is the perfect way to ensure your eyeshadow looks JUST as pigmented as it does in the pan.
If you’re wanting to apply a funky ass colour in the morning for it to last all day and night, then this is the way to go!
If you want to stop your eyeshadow from creasing, this is the way to go!
My favourite eyeshadow bases are:
P Louise Eyeshadow Base - Rumour £10
Helen E Cosmetics - Eyeshadow Primer £10
Mac Cosmetics - Select Cover Up (Maybe discontinued) £16.50
